Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Islamic banking, and investment on economic growth Indonesia in 1993-2016. This study uses a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used Autoregressive Distributed Lags (ARDL). This research used simple random sample. Sample that used in this research were taken from World Bank Data while for islamic banking data obtained from official website of all islamic banking in Indonesia. The result of the research shows that in the long term Islamic financing variable has a significant positive impact on the economic growth in Indonesia, while the short variable of sharia banking has a significant positive impact on the economic growth in Indonesia. Both of these proves that sharia banking has an active role to the economic growth of the country, especially in Indonesia. While the investment variables derived into variable Gross Fixed Capital Formation or GFCF have a significant negative impact on the economic growth of Indonesia in the short and long term.Keyword : Islamic Banking, Investment, Economic Growth, Indonesia, ARDL
