Abstract

With the development of communications and computer technology, Security monitoring gradually turns in the direction of wireless transmission and high-definition video. This paper proposed a reliable wireless video surveillance system design, which introduced Texas Instrument Incorporated (TI)'s new DM6467 processor as the CPU and used TD-SCDMA wireless network. This paper not only described the system's overall architecture, software and hardware structure; but also analyzed the whole implementation process and the interface protocols in detail. After test, the monitoring system is confirmed stable, and can be successfully applied to wireless video surveillance field. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH Berlin Heidelberg.
