Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common motor disability originated during childhood that describes a group of permanent disorders of the development of movement and posture causing activity limitations and affects the psychomotor activity of children. Balletvale +, has created classical ballet classes adapted to physical rehabilitation for CP. These classes can be assisted by children who are in any of the five levels of the Gross Motor Function Classification System for Cerebral Palsy (GMFCS). During the class, conventional techniques of classical dance exercises are adapted, marking special attention to the use of the compass and tonality, for example, the ternary subdivision gives more continuity to the movement in a port de bras, forcing to hold the torso and strengthen the muscles of the back and arms.
