Abstract

Travel and tourism is a booming sector of the 21st century world economy. Vehicles are becoming smarter and using advanced graphical displays. The Driving Machine seeks to provide an innovative vehicle dashboard that combines information design and persuasion design to change the driver's behavior, promoting safety and fuel efficiency, or sustainability. © 2013 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
