In this paper we introduce a project developed in Unity 5 which aims to aid in the rapid development and prototyping of games-based experiments. We present the Modular Games Benchmark an openly released tool-kit for games research. Using our framework, experiments can be created quickly without the need for extensive, customised or boilerplate code, aiding in reproducibility and standardisation.
