Abstract

The fates of radiology departments and other radiology organizations have always hinged on the quality of their leadership, but leadership is becoming an ever more important capability for radiologists. The rapid pace of changes in medical science and technology, the various medical disciplines, the organization and financing of healthcare, and the political system are making it more vital than ever that we educate learners to assume leadership roles. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
