Quinazoline and its derivatives have emerged as a promising class of drugs with demonstrated efficacy against diverse tumor types. In light of these advancements, this comprehensive review aims to outline recent developments in the utilization of quinazoline derivatives as anticancer agents. Additionally, the article offers valuable insights into the potential for novel quinazoline derivatives to serve as future anticancer drugs. By delving into the structure-activity relationship study, this review equips researchers with a thorough understanding necessary for designing a substantial number of impactful quinazoline compounds, which hold great potential in the treatment of various life-threatening disorders.
