Abstract

Fear affects every human being, and at one time or another it leaves its mark on each of us. It locks into our minds experiences that we can often easily recall and that sometimes erupt into consciousness through our dreams. Fear is the most toxic of all the emotions. Intense fear can even kill: Animals, including human beings, are sometimes literally frightened to death.
