We present an Iterative Artificial Neural Network (IANN) in which computation is performed through a set of successive layers sharing the same weights. This network requires fewer weights while it can handle high-dimensional inputs. IANN is applied, with good results, to a time series prediction and two classification problems. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2005.
