Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the improvement of Biology MGMP teachers' competence in Kota Langsa towards schoology-based learning. The research method in this classroom action research consists of two cycles, while each cycle consists of planning, implementing, reflecting and revising stages of the lesson plan for the next cycle. The research sample consisted of 30 MGMP biology teachers in Kota Langsa. The data collection was carried out by testing teachers' competence in using Schoology learning media by question test. The results of the research show that the implementation of Schoology learning media can improve Biology MGMP teachers competence in Kota Langsa with an average scoreis 42.67% in cycle I and in cycle II is 76% so it can be concluded that there is an improvement of Biology MGMP teachers' competence through the implementation of Schoology learning media.
