Sofrimentos Sociais em Debate

Abstract

Este texto analisa algumas dimensões do sofrimento social (humilhação, vergonha, falta de reconhecimento) vividas por adolescentes de categorias subalternizadas e os efeitos gerados nos contextos comunitário, grupal e social. A hipótese desenvolvida é a de que o sofrimento social não tem visibilidade: ele se inscreve no interior das subjetividades sem, no entanto, ser compartilhado coletivamente. Na última parte do texto são analisadas possíveis formas de intervenção junto a instituições e a organizações, objetivando criar trabalhos que atuem sobre as violências simbólicas, geradoras de sentimentos que desqualificam os sujeitos.In this article, some dimensions of social suffering (humiliation, shame, lack of acknowledgment) are analyzed as well as their effects in adolescents from subaltern social classes. This is examined in three different contexts: social, groups and community. The hypothesis underlined is that social suffering lacks visibility: it takes place inside subjectivities without being shared collectively. The last part of the paper is dedicated to analyzing possible forms of institutional and organizational intervention aiming at generating practices that focus symbolic violence, which causes feelings that disqualify the subjects.Dans ce texte on analyse quelques dimensions de la souffrance sociale (humiliation, honte, manque de reconnaissance) vécue par des adolescents des classes défavorisées et les effets engendrés dans les contextes communautaires, de groupes et social. L'hypothèse développée est que la souffrance sociale n'a pas de visibilité : elle s'inscrit à l'intérieur des subjectivités sans être partagée collectivement. En dernière partie on analyse les formes possibles d'intervention auprès des institutions et des organisations pour créer des enquêtes agissant sur les violences symboliques, créatrice de sentiments qui disqualifient les sujets.
