Abstract

The paper describes a study of a distributed electric propulsion system impact on the aerodynamic performance of an aircraft wing. A semi-empirical method and CFD calculation method for prop blown wing influence on take-off and landing characteristic were considered and compared. Results of these methods are compared. Optimal location of a prop with leading edge of an airfoil in terms of maximize lift coefficient was obtained through the CFD method.
