Abstract

In this paper, we evaluate the performance of WSNs for single and multi mobile events using different radio model, different topology and different protocols. We consider depletion metric to evaluate the performance of WSN. The simulation results have shown that for Shadowing model, the depletion is better than TwoRayGround model. For both Shadowing and TwoRayGround models, the depletion of DSR is worse than AODV. Also, depletion of DSR using Shadowing is unstable. © 2012 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
