Abstract

A high-frequency isolated transformer integrated circuit configuration is proposed for an interlink converter for microgrid applications. The interlink converter is connected to a 3-phase AC grid and a DC microgrid. Further, a control algorithm for the proposed circuit configuration is discussed. Subsequently, a 12-kW prototype is built, and experimental results are provided to demonstrate the validity of the proposed circuit, wherein the efficiency for BES/AC conversion was improved by 3% compared with conventional circuits.
