Abstract

The number of packages and documents that needs to be delivered in office buildings is rising rapidly. At present, these items are delivered manually, creating a large scale of human resources waste. Therefore, a certain delivery machine is needed. Electric smart car is the best option in these cases. This vehicle is equipped with a lidar to detect surrounding environments. By applying SLAM algorithm, a map of the surrounding environment is built and the vehicle can create a path automatically to deliver items. The smart car has several boxes on it to keep parcels and documents, each has a lock that can be unlocked only by receivers. It also has a LCD screen and a mini keyboard to type in the name and coordinates of the receiver and an ultra sonic detector to avoid people on its path. The vehicle's structure is specially designed to be more light-weighted while carrying more load.
