Abstract

Gamma ray bursts are known to have rapid time variation less than 64 milli-sec. The average of their power spectrum density (PSD) shows power law of index -1.67 through two decades. This is often argued in relation with the Kolmogorov law in turbulence; many self similar fluctuations are thought to yield the power law. We focus on the origin of the power law in PSD. We conclude that the orgin is not the self similarity but a special form of the dominant shot.
