Abstract

Interventional cardiologists should embrace cardiac CT as a helpful addition al to their armamentarium in the treatment of cardiovascular disease. CCTA can improve the discrimination of patients for whom invasive evaluation and treatment will be most helpful. It can be used in lieu of invasive evaluation after coronary and cardiac intervention, and is now mandatory in the evaluation of the structural heart disease patient.
