In the title compound, [ReBr(C12H9ClN 2)(CO)3], the ReI atom has a distorted octa-hedral configuration with the three carbonyl ligands showing a facial arrangement. The main distortion of the octa-hedron is due to a small bite angle of the chelating bidentate diimine ligand [N - Re - N = 75.3 (3)°].
