Abstract

This paper presents the performance analysis and the comparison between two techniques implemented for bi-directional converter. The analysis is carried out in accordance with rectification and inversion process using two cases. In both cases the modulation techniques are implemented digitally. The overall analysis incorporates the parameters such as power factor, total harmonic distortions (THDs), bi-directional operation, and voltage regulation for various loads. For each load all above parameters are checked and compared between two mentioned cases. These converter topologies are evaluated on 1 KW prototype model.
