Consequences of formation of Industry 4.0 for the global economy are determined. For determining the reasons of formation and development of Industry 4.0, the authors apply the method of factor analysis, which, due to absence of statistical data, has qualitative (logical) character. The author also uses the method of scenario analysis for determining further perspectives of development of Industry 4.0 in the global economy and substantiate the most optimal scenario that allows determining the global goals of strategic development of Industry 4.0. As a result, it is substantiated that at the global level Industry 4.0 is a more important economic phenomenon than at the national level. From the positions of the global economy, formation of Industry 4.0 is not just a tool of achievement of strategic goals in the sphere of international marketing and obtaining profit by certain states, but a means of solving the global problems of humanity and achievement of the global economic progress and social well-being.
