The paper proposes a mathematical model and implemented software for a freight delivery system, where cargo bicycles are used as a mean of transport. The proposed mathematical model uses a graph representation to describe a transport network, where consignees are associated with the vertices, while the graph edges reflect the sections of the road net. Requests for a freight delivery are characterized with a set of numerical parameters, such as: the consignment size, the package dimensions, the time interval between requests from clients and the delivery distance. The mathematical model was used in the web planning tool for deliveries by cargo bikes in the Kraków Old Town. In the paper, the authors briefly describe some features of the developed web application: the procedures of making orders by freight owners, creation of the delivery routes for carriers and other planning and management operations.
