Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of psychological impact, which might result from the diagnosis, treatment and associated sociocultural and psychological factors. Psychological assessments, possible options to improve psychological well-being and overall quality of life are highlighted, and it does not cover pharmacotherapy of mental health disorders and other alternative therapies that are offered in some oncology settings to improve well-being.
