As a result of global warming resulting from climate imbalances, the increase in the world population, and the gradually diminishing use of available agricultural resources, agriculture has become an increasingly important sector. Traditional farming methods can lead to the inadequacy of the outputs of this sector in the future. For this reason, countries carry out studies to ensure the highest level of productivity in agriculture. Smart Agriculture or Agriculture 4.0 refers to the digitalization of production as in Industry 4.0. With the digitalization of production, it will be possible to obtain more output with less input (such as water, fertilizer, fuel). Especially in today's climate change which is negative affect on growth, the agricultural sector has to have modern techniques. In this study, the importance of agriculture 4.0 applications for Turkey is mentioned. Israel, Taiwan and the Netherlands practices which are in an important position in agriculture have been examined and the process in Turkey has been analyzed in the context of Agriculture 4.0.
