Abstract

In this article, we revisit the concept of Goldman’s fuzzy testor and re-study it from the perspective of the conceptual approach to attribute reduct introduced by Y.Y. Yao in the framework of Rough Set Theory. We reformulate the original concept of Goldman’s fuzzy testor and we introduce the Goldman’s fuzzy reducts. Additionally, in order to show the usefulness of the Goldman’s fuzzy reducts, we build a rule based classifier and evaluate its performance in a case of study.
