Abstract

In previous chapters, we explored the sequence of events which renders a healthy head of hair ‘unhealthy’. Disruption of the normal structure and physiology of the hair shafts renders them dry and weak and ultimately leads to an unmanageable head of hair lacking shine and prone to breakage and/or frizz.
