As we step into the era of another Industrial Revolution, the mode of transportation also demands a paradigm shift, especially in a country like India. Pollution, the forerunner of challenges in any Indian city can be substantially dealt with by the introduction of Electric Vehicles or EV. Insecure driving and gross disobedience of traffic rules are quite a common sight on Indian roads. This situation can be largely dealt with by the adoption of smart mobility features, like establishing inter-vehicle communication. This paper explores the opportunities of Indian roads for electric vehicle and puts a special emphasis on making those smarter for smoother and safer communication.
