Abstract

This chapter reports on the use of an online discussion forum to develop pre-service teachers’ critical reflection on their own teaching practice during the practicum component of their teacher education program. Reflection is considered a key aspect of ongoing learning and development for teachers, but can be reduced to a descriptive-type task rather than one through which learning about teaching is more likely to occur.
