Testing The Analgesic Effect of Sungkai Leaf Ethanol Extract (Peronema canescans Jack) on Mice (Mus musculus). In Indonesia, the Sungkai plant (Peronem canescans Jack) is a plant that belongs to the Verbanaecae family. This plant has a regional name which is often called sekai, sungkih, (Sumatra). In the Kalimantan area it is called longkai, straight, sungkai, in the Java area it is called jati sabrang, sungke. This study aims to determine the activity of the ethanol extract of Sungkai leaves as an analgesic. The refined simplicia was extracted using the percolation method with 70% ethanol solvent. The test animals used in the study were 25 mice divided into 5 treatment groups, namely paracetamol positive control, Na-CMC negative control, the Sungkai leaf extract group at doses of 150 mg/kg BW, 300 mg/kg BW, 600 Mg/kg BW. The results showed that the leaf extract sungkai dose of 150 mg/kg BW has the most effective preparations that provide as an analgesic test.
