A APRENDIZAGEM VISANDO A COMPETÊNCIA EM INFORMAÇÃO NA SOCIEDADE EM TEMPOS DE INFOESFERA

Abstract

Resumo A sociedade, historicamente, incorpora para si os seus próprios avanços e assim se reconfigura para melhor usufruir desse novo espectro. A sociedade da informação e do conhecimento é a nova reconfiguração social que se apresenta no século XXI. Nessa nova sociedade não basta mais apenas ser alfabetizado, aprender a ler, estudar em livros para a prova, saber tabuadas e estar presente na escola. Ela usa novos recursos de aprendizagem que se juntam ou substituem os anteriores, ela não descarta as novas tecnologias como recurso para aprender e exige do cidadão uma nova competência: a competência em informação. Um cidadão "alfabetizado" em informação e nos recursos que permitem acessar e usar as informações e conhecimentos disponíveis, incluindo as novas tecnologias, especialmente as de informação e comunicação. Por isso a relação aprendiz e aprendizado está se reconfigurando e agora precisa desenvolver o cidadão para torná-lo competente em informação. E para ser e se manter competente em informação não basta aprender e apreender: é preciso aprender por toda a vida. Palavras-chave: Competência em Informação. Aprendizagem. THE LEARNING AIMING AT THE INFORMATION LITERACY IN THE INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY Abstract Society historically incorporates the advances of society itself and thus reconfigures itself to benefit from this new spectrum. The information and knowledge society is the new social reconfiguration present in the 21st century. In this new society, it is not enough just to be literate, to learn how to read, to study in books for the exams, to know arithmetic and to be present at school. The current information society uses new learning resources that join or replace the previous ones, it does not discard the new technologies as a learning resource, and it demands of the citizen a new competence: information literacy. A citizen who is 'literate' in information and in the resources that allow access to and use of available information and knowledge, including new technologies, especially information and communication technologies. That is why the relationship between apprentice and learning is being reconfigured, and now it needs to develop the citizens to become information literate. And for them to be and remain information literate, it is not enough learning and understanding: a lifelong learning is necessary.
