Abstract

This paper describes how to design and complete an Audio and Video Real Time Broadcast System. Embedded devices based on Android OS are chosen as the recording terminal to get video and audio frames. The open source library Javacv is integrated for data processing, including encoding video into H.264 format and audio into AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) format, packing them into Flv (Flash Video) file and uploading the stream to Streaming Server with RTMP (Real Time Media Protocol) protocol through WiFi. Any equipment can get the contents through connecting the internet. This system has great significance for the promotion of embedded equipment and rapid information dissemination. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.
