PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN PADA TOKO ROYAL ICE CREAM DENGAN METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

We cannot deny that Information Technology plays a very important role, especially for business people. With Information Technology, it is hoped that it can facilitate business activities quickly and accurately. Both in managing sales transactions up to the reporting stage. Royal Ice Cream Shop is a company that operates in the sales and purchasing sector. Sales are carried out by purchasing raw materials which will be processed into finished goods for resale. In managing the sales information system, it is still done manually and conventionally, thus allowing errors and inaccuracies to occur. This research produces a web-based cash sales information system using the Laravel framework which can be a solution for recording purchase information, sales, stock records, as well as purchasing, sales and stock reports. Software development applies the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method starting from the requirements analysis phase, modeling analysis phase, design phase and construction phase. It is hoped that the results of this research will make it easier to calculate product sales, minimize the occurrence of errors during calculations if large orders occur and automate the creation of sales reports.
