Abstract

We have recently demonstrated that the administration of a plasmid coding for α -enolase can elicit robust immune responses in genetically engineered mice that spontaneously develop pancreatic cancer, resulting in a significant improvement of their survival. This approach provides a springboard for the elaboration of new forms of immunotherapy for pancreatic cancer. © 2013 Landes Bioscience.
