Abstract

This paper describes a research conducted on university students careers. The purpose is to study, describe and prevent the phenomenon of abandonment (churn). Results from predictive models may be employed to start activities of personalized tutoring, aimed at preventing the phenomena © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
