Abstract

In 1976-1984 entomofaunistic studies were carried out in linden-oak-hornbeam (Tilio-Carpinetum) and thermophilous oak (Potentillo albae-Quercetum) forests on the Mazovian Lowland. Species composition, community structure and abundance of Coccinellidae were determined in the canopy and herb layer in the studied habitats. Furthermore, the material was subject to zoogeographical and ecological analyses and seasonal dynamics was examined.
