Abstract

Two problems related to the concrete fatigue durability analysis, originated in papers [2,3] and based on the data banks taken from [1], are developed. The first problem deals with the neural simulation of the durability of concrete, defined as a number of cycles of compressive stresses N. The second problem corresponds to the identification of concrete strength associated with N. In the paper a neurofuzzy network FWNN (Fuzzy Weight NN), formulated in [4], was used to obtain better results than approximations by the standard (crisp) Back-Propagation NNs.
