It provides material on social, political, business and economic developments in the People's Republic of China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. It is published by CEFC (French Centre for Research on Contemporary China). Each issue contains academic articles, book reviews, and reviews of recent articles in the Chinese press. The website (which is a partner of Revues.Org) provides free acess to historical backruns of the journal from 2003. More recent materials are added generally 2 years after the date of publication.
