Abstract

This chapter outlines some of the policy options that might be considered if Canada is to develop a more equitable and effective youth justice system. In keeping with the arguments advanced earlier, most of these policy options focus on social institutions and relationships in addition to criminal justice system ones. As such, the chapter points to the importance of linking youth justice with social justice. PU - SPRINGER-VERLAG BERLIN PI - BERLIN PA - HEIDELBERGER PLATZ 3, D-14197 BERLIN, GERMANY
