PEMIKIRAN DAN GERAKAN DAKWAH SYEIKH NURUDDIN AR-RANIRY

Abstract

Nuruddin Ar-Raniry is one of the pioneers and thinkers of the missionary movement in the archipelago. His struggle and movement have given him the nuances of his own Islamic sharia. Evidence of his struggle includes the majority of Muslims in Indonesia with the Syafi'i principle. This discussion uses a literature study approach. His thoughts were contained in 29 of his writings, in the form of books and manuscripts. Meanwhile, his influence movement was seen when he became a Mufti in the Kingdom of Aceh. No less interesting, he has made Arabic - Malay the second Islamic language, then became the forerunner of Indonesian. A big struggle to combat the concept of wujudiyah Sufism has diverted Acehnese Muslims into syuhudiyah. The implementation of syuduhiyah proved to be in the form of Qonun (Islamic Law) in Aceh to date.
