Abstract

This paper describes the interaction model within a computer-based intelligent learning environment based on a multi-agent architecture called MATHEMA. In MATHEMA, we have a micro-society of attificial tutoring agents that interacts with the human learner, aiming to involve him in a cooperative learning situation. We are interested in the modeling of two types of interaction: among the agents of the microsociety, and between a human learner and a tutoring agent. In this paper the interaction in the micro-society is focused.
