Abstract

This chapter proposes a MIMO fuel cell design by integrating both Ziegler-Nichols-based PID and intelligent fuzzy-neural controllers. Comparing with the other PID methods by Matlab simulation, the proposed system performances are better and robust by using scaled conjugate gradient algorithm to determine the neural network weighting factors and biases; even the system has stack current disturbance variation and gas valve hysteresis effects. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
