Abstract

In the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity, organizations face continuous threats and attacks that can potentially compromise their systems and data. To enhance security measures, two primary methodologies have emerged: red teaming and blue teaming. Red teaming involves simulating adversarial attacks to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses, while blue teaming focuses on defending systems and mitigating risks. This research paper aims to provide an in-depth comparative analysis of red teaming and blue teaming, exploring their objectives, methodologies, benefits, and challenges. By understanding the strengths and limitations of both approaches, organizations can effectively employ these strategies to fortify their cybersecurity defenses. Keywords— Cyber Security, Blue Teaming, Red Teaming, Defensive, Offensive.
