Abstract

For solid waste collection companies, it is essential to control the risk factors associated with the air quality of the work environment of their employees in order to minimize the health conditions of their workers. The purpose of the study is to develop a prototype of a wireless sensor for measuring air quality. This measurement instrument will be implemented in work environments for solid waste collection workers. From the study it is concluded that for companies in this sector it is essential to control risk factors associated with exposure to gases and vapors.
