Indonesia has hot-humid climate that is divided into rain and summer. It has relatively high temperature without significant temperature difference at day and night. Meanwhile, the relative humidity level is also high. In that climate character, continuous air flow, natural light and ventilation are needed. Ume Kbubu is one of the traditional houses that are located in Boti village, Ke'i subdistrict, South Timor Tengah city, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It is a daily house for Boti tribe that is shaped a half circle with wooden main structure. The wall of the building is made of braided rumbia leaves. The border between its wall and roof component is almost unclear. The thermal comfort is successfully achieved from the combination of the temperature and relative humidity that were produced. The qualitative descriptive research method was used to depict Boti tribe's community's perception upon Ume Kbubu. The data was collected by field observation and interviewing locals. To control of its thermal condition, temperature, relative humidity, light brightness, and air flow in Ume kbubu are measured.
