Abstract

Haemophilus ducreyi is the causative agent of chancroid, and Klebsiella granulomatis is the cause of Donovanosis. Both are classified as agents of genital ulcer disease. This method describes a multiplex polymerase chain reaction targeting these organisms in which amplification products are detected by an enzyme linked amplicon hybridization assay. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
