Abstract

The present paper discusses the results of application of multi-agent technologies to the diagnostic of errors (and underlying cognitive gaps) in aeronautic training. Cognitive psychology issues related to errors constitute the base for ITS modelling. The model of reasoning based on qualitative simulation is proposed as the base for pedagogical evaluation of the trainee. As a result, simulation-based ITS using «learning-by-doing errors» approach is presented, where multi-agent architecture is used for threefold errors diagnosis: ergonomy, knowledge, psychology. The results of this research have found their applications in ASIMIL project.
