Abstract

Due to many reasons, potent and new antifungal agents are still required, especially for the large populations of immunocompromised patients; it is lifesaving to protect them from systemic infections. Scientists around the globe are hunting for new and potent antifungal molecules. Nature as well as ethnomedicine thought to be a very good source of novel molecules not only against fungal infections, but also against many other clinical complications, like cancers and so on. This chapter puts some emphasis on and discusses about the natural products as source of antifungal agents.
