This study aims to examine in depth about the increasing ability of students through learning mathematical connection with REACT strategy. This research used a quasi-experimental design with control pre-test and post-test. The subjects of this study were students at the UM PGSD odd semester 2015/2016. Results from the study showed that the increase in the ability of the mathematical connection that gets students learning mathematics through REACT strategy is better than the improvement of the ability to connect students who receive conventional learning
