Abstract

The researchers McDonald and Thomas (2003) wrote that ``the human tragedy of exclusion is not confined to the student'' (p. 118). And, indeed, the relationship between teachers and parents of excluded children is one of the greatest challenges facing inclusive education worldwide (Epstein, 2009; Olivos & Mendoza, 2010).
