Abstract

This chapter uses the term 'memory wars' to refer to the scientific debate on repressed and recovered memory of sexual abuse. The author reviews recent activity in courtrooms, academia, psychotherapy, policy settings, and feminist circles regarding this issue. A commentary is included.
