Abstract

Educational app development enables didatic content to be widely known and enhances the access of professors and students to technological resources, mainly in economically disadvantaged communities. However, building educational applications demands perceptive understanding in the way of approaching desired concepts, so as not to convey wrong information, especially in applications where graphic interface design is essential. This article presents and discusses important factors for the design of graphic educational applications: low-cost technologies, graphic modeling and assessment importance. The considerations presented in this work are based on the design and development of some applications to physics subjects, however they can also be useful for application projects from other subjects.
